Holiday recipes, traditions & thoughtful planning for October 31 through New Year's Day.
Holiday Staples & Traditions is a collection of recipes, menus, traditions, and ideas for making the most of the holiday season—from the first fall gatherings to New Year's Day. Created for the mom who wants to fill her home with good food, meaningful traditions, and memories made around the table.

I created this cookbook as a mom who wanted to be intentional about the traditions we were creating around our table.
Because our kids may not remember every gift they received, but they’ll remember the cinnamon rolls they woke up to on Christmas morning. They’ll remember making cookies together, the meal we made every Thanksgiving, the special foods we only make once a year, and the little traditions that simply wouldn’t feel like the holidays without them.
For our family, these traditions are rooted in our faith. They are part of how we keep Christ at the center of our home and celebrate the meaning behind these seasons. That’s why this book includes not just recipes, but also the traditions, menus, and ideas that have become part of how we celebrate.
Those are the things that make the holidays feel like home.
The holidays take work. There are meals to plan, food to make, tables to set, gifts to bake, and traditions to keep. But I believe that work is good work—and that the time we spend creating a warm and welcoming home for our families is worth it.
I created this book to help you do that work well: with recipes you’ll want to make year after year, menus and planning ideas to guide you through the season, and traditions that give your family something to look forward to.
My hope is that these pages become part of your family’s holidays—helping you make the food, keep the traditions, and create the memories that make this season feel like home.
I wanted this book to be something you could keep on your counter and reach for throughout the season—a collection of recipes, menus, traditions, and little ideas to help you make your family's holidays your own.
From the first holiday gathering to Christmas morning and New Year's Day, these are the recipes and traditions I hope become part of your family's story, too.
125 pages of recipes, menus, traditions, and practical planning for the holiday season.
From October 31 through New Year's Day, this book gives you a place to turn for the meals and traditions that make this time of year special.
Inside you'll find:
Holiday recipes you'll want to make year after year
Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year's menus
Holiday breakfasts, cookies, candy & treats
Make-ahead recipes & planning guides
Homemade gifts from the kitchen
Family traditions & ideas for making memories
A book to cook from, plan from, and return to every year.
Some of my favorite holiday memories have very little to do with the things we bought or how perfectly everything came together.
They're the memories around the table.
The smell of cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning. Making cookies with little hands.
Sitting down to Thanksgiving dinner. Sharing a favorite recipe year after year until it becomes our recipe. The foods that our children grow up knowing are simply part of Christmas, Thanksgiving, and the holidays in our home.
Those are the traditions I'm trying to create.
And that's why I made this book.
I hope it gives you recipes your family loves, traditions they look forward to, and a collection of little moments that become the stories you tell for years to come.
Because someday, they'll remember the way home tasted.
